WEB DEVELOPER

 

 

Ironclad Technology Services has an opening for a Web Developer to join our expanding team located in Virginia Beach, VA.  Due to the nature of the work, only U.S. Citizens will be considered for this position.

 

This position will join a software engineering and development group that is currently supporting multiple Department of Defense clients.  The current team is developing and maintaining financial information systems, data warehouses, business intelligence systems, and performance management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Collect requirements and translate into the design and construction of web-based applications
  • Apply knowledge of application development principles and the software development lifecycle to develop and deliver quality applications in a timely manner
  • The ideal candidate will contribute to the maintenance of existing systems and develop enhancements for existing and new systems.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 3 years application development experience with Java, JavaScript, and JSP

  • 2 years development experience with Servlets, Struts, Hibernate, or Spring

  • Prior experience programming in PL/SQL

  • Experience with several different web server platforms

  • Experience designing and implementing web services

  • Must be flexible and able to learn new skills/technologies quickly

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline like Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field or 5 years of relevant experience

  • The ideal candidate must have good communication skills and work well in a team environment as well as function independently
